Lavs and Valves – Patricia (Monday, June 22, 2009)

Here I am, on the plane to Washington, DC, watching Confessions of a Shopaholic (a really dumb movie), sitting between Timo (window seat) and Emma (aisle seat).  We are now two and a half hours late, which means that we will miss our connecting flight to Buenos Aires.  We are late because something is broken in the “lav” (bathroom) in first class.  It turns out that they had to replace an entire valve.  I have assurances from the flight attendant that, since we’ll surely miss our connection to Argentina tonight, United will give us a hotel room.  I hope she’s right!

Timo’s First Day (Monday, June 22, 2009)

Well, this is day one on the Argentina trip. We were stuck at the Sea-tac Airport on the plane for 2 and a half hours. We’re on the plane now drinking orange juice. We’ll arivie in D.C. and stay in a hotel. This is The Argentina  Trip with Timo: Day one.
